Darklup Accessibility Dark Contrast enables a high contrast dark colour scheme on your website to improve readability for visitors with visual impairments or light sensitivity.
It uses Darklup’s Accessibility built-in dynamic dark mode to apply a dark colour scheme across the entire page. This is the same dark mode your plugin already uses, activated directly from the accessibility panel.
Step 1: Enable Dark Contrast Module in Admin #
First, navigate to Darklup Dashboard > Switch Styles > Floating Switch. Make sure your Darklup Accessibility Switch is selected.

Now, scroll down to the Contrast & Color group and make sure Dark Contrast is toggled On.

Step 2: Check Your Frontend Outlook #
When a visitor clicks Dark Contrast in the accessibility panel, the entire page switches to dark mode.
Clicking the card again turns off the dark mode and returns the page to its original appearance.
Note: Only one contrast mode can be active at a time. Activating Dark Contrast will automatically turn off Light Contrast and High Contrast.
This is how to use Darklup Dark Contrast module in just a few steps.
